Incorporating Innovation

Incorporating Innovation LLC

You have reached the home of Incorporating Innovation with Charlena Thorpe, Patent Attorney.

Incorporating Innovation LLC was founded by Charlena Thorpe, a patent attorney with over fifteen years of patent experience.  After working with Fortune 100 and 500 companies at large law firms, Charlena Thorpe formed the Law Office of Charlena Thorpe, Inc. where she began working more with individual inventors. But, unlike large corporations, individual inventors typically lack the experience to commercialize their ideas. Incorporating Innovation was formed to provide more services to clients. Charlena’s mission for Incorporating Innovation is to help individual inventors Build Businesses Around Ideas™ by helping clients protect their ideas and by providing business consultation.  According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, 19,196 utility patents were issued to individual inventors in 2015. However, only a small percentage of individual inventors are successful at licensing or selling their inventions to companies. Given these statistics, individual inventors have a better chance of successfully manufacturing and selling their inventions themselves. Incorporating Innovation was designed to help individual inventors Build Businesses Around Ideas™.

Incorporating Innovation believes that inventors are the best advocate for their inventions and that the success of any invention depends on active participation from inventors. Therefore, Incorporating Innovation provides the tools and resources for inventors to turn their inventions into businesses.

Incorporating Innovation helps clients Build Businesses Around Ideas™ by helping clients protect their idea and providing consultation on incorporating a business, funding a business, manufacturing a product, and marketing.

Protect Your Idea First

Incorporating Innovation strongly believes that you should protect your idea first.  Because Incorporating Innovation was founded by a patent attorney, we are uniquely positioned to help clients protect their ideas.
